Nate Hinde

Hailing from Seattle, Nathaniel “Nate” Hinde has performed on stage and street, and is pretty well known wherever the language of “free style” is spoken.  He has been writing and performing spoken word pieces since he was sixteen years of age, and now at twenty-three, Nathaniel emerges as a poet ahead of his time . . . sometimes with an edge, but always with the scars to support it.  He has a style all his own, with powerful words, complex ideas, and a stage presence far more mature than his years.

Nathaniel has been an a member of the Oregon Country Fair Community since he was eight years old; hanging with, and learning from the myriad of entertainers and performers who influence the OCF every summer.  Besides just being another “Fair Brat,” over the years he has worked on the Entertainment Camp Crew, Water Crew, and Security; all the time watching, learning, writing, and earning.

Those who know Nathaniel Hinde personally regard him as an affable, easy-going person, yet when he assumes the stage he is all business with no time for small thought or small talk.
