Marv Ellis

Marv Ellis
(R hythmic A merican P oet)
Home grown in the great Northwest, Marv Ellis combines dynamic conscious lyrics with everyday epiphanies to create his unique and respected style. His enthusiasm at every performance whether it be with his band; Imaginary Friends, or alone on stage with one mic, has brought him recognition all over the country.
Performing his brand’s new album "Dreamcatcher Juice"...., and dipping deep into his rhyme books, Marv has mastered the art of being a true emcee, and provides a clinic type atmosphere for any spoken word performer. A poetry show with Mr. Ellis usually means never before seen angles on spoken word presentation fused with beatboxing and jazz scat.
His Catalog of material comes from years of lyricism and a wide background in performance. He freestyles his way through jam sessions with Reeble Jar then turns around and performs live with Lafa Taylor as ME.LT. He directs his twelve piece world hip hop band the Imaginary Friends then goes out and sings backups for Keegan Smith.
A lover of the voice that Hip Hop provides, Marv Ellis gives all he has every time he touches the mic. Marv is a Planetary World Bridger building bridges between cities.
“Come true and check it out. Peace.”
